Invitation to visit Wetenschapsdag 2026

Would you like to visit one of our labs? Hear how researchers study living systems and program rubber to make it count? Or let your children or grandchildren discover the world of mirror molecules?

On October 3, AMOLF and neighboring research organizations open their doors to visitors of all ages. Come and explore science through lab tours, experiments, demonstrations and lectures. Wetenschapsdag is from 12:00 – 17:00 hours.

What is Wetenschapsdag?

Wetenschapsdag Amsterdam Science Park is an initiative of 5 research organizations at Amsterdam Science Park: AMOLF, ARCNL, CWI, Nikhef, UvA. The event is organized each year as part of the national Weekend of Science. The goal of the event is to share our scientific discoveries and to bring across our enthusiasm for exact sciences.

We hope to see many familiar faces and meet new friends on October 3rd.
