Mechanical Computing Meeting 2025

Date 23 May 2025 Time 09:30 - 16:30
Location AMOLF
Category Meeting
Recent years have seen a surprising resurgence of mechanical computing and the advent of mechanical learning. Mechanical systems provide an excellent platform to develop new concepts of in materiak computing. Moreover, computing and learning provides a fresh perspective on, e.g., memory effects in complex mechanical materials such as crumpled sheets. Finally, the unique properties of mechanics may open routes to ultra low power computing. This workshop aims to connect these different approaches.
