This year’s symposium focusses on light-driven processes monitored in situ inside the transmission electron microscope (TEM). The aim is to bring together researchers working on sustainable energy materials with electron microscopists while highlighting recent advances in the field.
The symposium is linked to the opening of our new SHINE TEM facility at AMOLF. SHINE will bring light directly into the TEM to enable us to watch solar harvesting materials transform at the atomic level under relevant operating conditions with high time resolution.
The program consists of four talks by international keynote speakers combining light excitation and TEM for steering physical or chemical processes and the official opening of the facility. This symposium is intended for everyone in sustainable energy research and/or (in situ) TEM.
Registration for the workshop is free of charge. We look forward to welcoming you on October 11.
