Nanoscale solar cells group part of Philips-FOM Industrial Partnership Program, January 2014

The nanoscale solar cells group is part of a new industrial partnership program (IPP) grant co-financed by Philips and FOM.

The goal of the program is to improve light-emitting diodes (LEDs) by enhancing their emission efficiency while controlling both angular and spectral emission patterns.  The nanoscale solar cells group will contribute by incorporating nanowires into LEDs as both the active semiconductor emitter and the transparent electrode contact.  Please see the following website for the press release:
