CV / Biography
Jenny is a PhD student interested in how to control chemical reactions in nanoscale through light-matter interactions. Currently she is working on light-driven synthesis of solar fuel catalysts, by generation of highly energetic electrons (hot-electrons) from plasmonic nanoparticles. Before joining the Nanoscale Solar Cells’ group, she completed a master’s in Sustainable Energy Technology from TU Delft by working on plasmon-enhanced photoelectrochemical water splitting. She obtained her bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens. In her free time she enjoys music, water skiing, climbing and spending time in nature.
