The European Union Decarbonisation Pathway
Abstract: The European Union has set for itself the ambition to become the first carbon neutral continent by 2050, but how was this decision taken? What are the consequences for the European economy and the European citizens? This talk will provide an informal introduction to energy system modelling and an overview of the projections underpinning the European Green Deal. It will also touch upon the decision making process of the European Institutions.
